On May 29, 2026, at the initiative of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with other ministries and agencies of the country, a solemn award ceremony for the winners of the Republican contest "Youth Against Corruption" was held at the Akasharif Juraev State Philharmonic of Tajikistan.

It should be noted that this contest, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the "Month of Youth", was held from April 25 to May 23, 2026. Its primary objective is to enhance the anti-corruption legal culture of the population and to draw public attention, particularly that of the youth, to the issues of countering corruption.

The event was attended by the Director of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, lieutenant-general of justice Sultonzoda S.S., the leadership and officials of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministries of culture, Education and science, the Agency for innovation and digital nechnologies, the Committees for youth affairs and sports, for primary and secondary vocational education, for television and radio, as well as officials and students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the Republic, representatives of international organizations, civil society, and the mass media.

The event commenced with a welcoming speech by the Director of the Agency, Sulaymon Said Sultonzoda, who congratulated all participants and winners of the Republican contest "Youth Against Corruption" for their active participation.

Subsequently, in a ceremonial atmosphere, the winners of the final stage of the contest in the categories "Best Article", "Best sketch or Social video", and "Modern Anti-Corruption Initiative (including with the use of digital technologies)" were awarded diplomas, letters of appreciation, prizes, monetary rewards, and other commemorative gifts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, as well as honorary places.

At the conclusion of the event, a cultural and entertainment program was presented to elevate the spirits of the participants.

Overall, the event was conducted at a high level and in a festive atmosphere. It can be stated with confidence that its outcomes will exert a positive influence on fostering an environment of intolerance towards corruption in society and on drawing the attention of young people to the issue of countering this phenomenon.
